Venue Address:
Dog & Partridge
Bolton

This Ain't No Picnic is a new urban festival, brought to you by the folks who also run Smalltown America. We ran a series of alldayers from 2004 to 2006, and despite the change of name and change of venue our aim is still a simple one - we want to put on a fantastic weekend of live music, with bands you know and love and bands we think (and hope!) you'll come to know and love. Essentially, music that we believe in.
This year's event takes places on September 27th and 28th at King's College London, and will feature around 30 bands spread across two stages. There will also be a seperate bar (boasting spectacular views over the River Thames) with a film programme of some of our favourite punk rock and DIY music films. Your ticket also permits you to stay for the venue's regular clubnight after the live music finishes on Saturday, which goes on until 4am!
All proceeds from this event will be donated to charity. Our last alldayer raised £2000, which was split between Cancer Research UK and The Connection At St Martins.
Smalltown America is an independent record label that was established in 2001 to release the first Jetplane Landing album. We've grown somewhat since then, releasing records for a number of different artists as well as nine (and counting!) volumes of our critically-acclaimed Public Service Broadcast compilation series. We currently have staff based in both London and Derry. Please visit our website to find out more about what we do. Our motto always has and always will be that good music deserves to be heard, and that's all that really matters.
Cheap weekend 'earlybird' tickets are available NOW via We Got Tickets. Full price day and weekend tickets go onsale on Friday June 27th.
