Information:
JETPLANE LANDING seal the envelope on an amazing year with a very special Christmas show at The Bull & Gate, Kentish Town, London on Thursday December 19th 2002 for the benefit of Shelter, the charity campaigning and providing practical aid and assistance for homeless people.

Shelter is a national organisation working to improve the lives of homeless and badly housed people; through their network of Housing Aid Centres, projects and surgeries, Shelter staff provide free, professional and independent advice to over 100,000 homeless and badly housed people each year, working to develop solutions and influence decision makers and public opinion to improve lives throughout England and Scotland.  Every penny makes a real difference, especially at this time of year.

Building upon the success of their acclaimed home-made self-released debut album Zero For Conduct (hailed as a KKKKK rated masterpiece by Kerrang), 2002 has seen JETPLANE LANDING’s original roster of 3 (Andrew Ferris – vocals/guitar, Jamie Burchell – bass, Raife Burchell – drums) sprout a fourth member in the form of new guitarist Cahir O’Doherty.  Expanded both in line-up and sound, the fearsome foursome flexed muscle across the UK with well received shows with the likes of Hundred Reasons, Ash and Seafood, before headlining Oxford’s Truck festival in July and packing the Carling stages at both Reading and Leeds in August.  Following their own national headline tour in October, this month saw them continue to break rules and destroy barriers by not merely being playlisted but sitting at No. 1 on MTV2's ‘Most Wanted’ with their self-made video for Acrimony, the lead track from their widely praised El Quatre Gats EP.  In what is guaranteed to be a typically unpredictable and spectacular onslaught of impassioned and angular melodic punk, this will be the final chance to savour the groundbreaking band's spring-loaded Mr T-fuelled riffs and DIY political/ethical ranting before they decamp to their shed-based studio to record their eagerly anticipated second album.

Confirmed support on the night will come from THE WOW.  Formerly known as The Sunset Sound, this 5 piece from Reading are already favourites with Steve Lamacq and Claire Sturgess and took September’s In The City event in Manchester by storm with their unique and thrilling synth-enhanced dream-rock fusion of infectious harmonies and explosive guitars.  Think Smashing Pumpkins and Muse taken to an epic scale of Led Zeppelin majesty.  It goes without saying that THE WOW are destined for greatness in 2003.

More very VERY special guests will be announced in early December in what is destined to be a unique opportunity to catch a diverse line up of old pros and young whippersnappers in an intimate venue.

With an exclusive, numbered, limited edition compilation CD featuring a track from each of the bands appearing on the bill on sale only on the night at the gig, this promises to be an unforgettable evening and for a very worthwhile cause.
