Total freedom. That's the dominant sound of 'Backlash Cop', whether it was the fingers aflame guitar playing, the funky beats and bass jives or the anything goes lyrical playfulness.

And of course there was the genius of the fabled 'Why Do they Never Play Les Savy Fav On The Radio?' Listening to 'Backlash Cop', it's criminal that not enough people are asking that very same question of these guys.
