“A swirling, fantastical whirlpool of electronica” Blog Post: Clone Quartet - Well-Oiled Machine

From Music News, by Amanda Hall-Davis on 9 May 2007

Northern Irish rascals kick up an indie sensation in their up and coming track 'Carousel’.

A swirling, fantastical whirlpool of electronica that nimbly lifts the spirits and encourages a skip in any would be listener. Packed with giddy gallic zeal that leans towards a feel-good festival hit.

'Played to Death’ leaves the usual harmonies behind and goes on to create a denser texture both instrumentally and vocally. Add a slice of war drums, kick-ass screaming vocals that collide with stabs of electronic synth and the result is a track that stays the distance.
