“Warm, fuzzy and irresistible” Single Review: Oppenheimer - Breakfast In NYC/Truth Or Dare

From Comfort Comes, by John Siwicki on 18 May 2006

Oppenheimer are the latest band from the good people over at Smalltown America Records and freshly signed to Bar/None records in the US. This Irish duo makes some sweet pop songs that will catch anyone’s ear no matter what they like. You will hear comparison to The Postal Service, but it is a bit happier and the vocals are a lot better. "Breakfast in NYC" is a sweet synth pop tune featuring vocals with child like enthusiasm. The vocals are run through what seems to be several effects and it gives the track a bit more sauce. The track is barely over two minutes in length, its short, warm, fuzzy and irresistible.
