“The only error they make is to vacate the stage after only half an hour.” Live Review: Fickle Public - Barfly Club at The Monarch on 30/01/06 - Bucko

From Rock Sound, by Hardeep Phull on 4 March 2006

The unwritten rules of live music dictate that the best band goes on last but tonight, they've quite clearly been bent.  The chirpy, happy-just-to-be-here geniality that emanates from Glasgow's Fickle Public hides the fact that they are the highlight of the evening.  Their visceral blasts of spasmodic art-rock hang between the dynamics of Nirvana and the unpredictability of Biffy Clyro, and the only error they make is to vacate the stage after only half an hour.
