“Fugazi, Seafood and The Undertones knocking baskets in a Glaswegian off-license” Live Review: Fickle Public - Barfly Club at The Monarch on 30/01/06 - Bucko

From Kerrang!, by Simon Young on 15 February 2006

Scottish guitar-grapplers Fickle Public kick off the K!-sponsored 'Most Wanted' evening with an impassioned set that sounds like Fugazi, Seafood and The Undertones knocking baskets in a Glaswegian off-license. From the oddly satisfying puzzle-riffing of their chart-tickling single 'Just Like I Got Used To Saying Courteney Cox Arquette' and 'Kitten's Got Claws', they can certainly count on this sweaty crowd to put their hand in their pocket on March 6 when their debut album 'Bucko' hits the shelves.
