“Utterly ace post-hardcore puzzle pop” : Fickle Public - Just Like I Got Used To Saying Courteney Cox Arquette

From NME, by Krissi Murisson on 30 January 2006

This week Krissi Murisson takes on Acton Towners, DFA’s side project and Glaswegian speed-freaks.

Completing this week's triptych of trouble are Dischord-loving Glaswegian speed freaks Fickle Public. They hoped having to type out the arbitrary title of new single 'Just Like I Got Used To Saying Courteney Cox Arquette' (the song's actually about government propaganda!), would cause maximum strife for music hacks. Unfortunately it just means we have less space to tell you how utterly, ace its post-hardcore puzzle pop actually is.
