All Dayer 3 - A Fantastic Success - Two Thousand Pounds Raised - Thank you!

It's always emotional and it's always a great day - but this years all-dayer really is going to take some beating.Tiger Force So many great sets and fantastic moments; we were delighted by the huge numbers that attended on the day and supported the good causes- it was easily our busiest gig so far. Together we raised £1996.62 - which is another superb total. We'll round this up and divide between the two good causes.

There are so many people to thank at all-dayer and at risk of leaving someone out we're going to give it a go: Rob Dix, Helen Turner, Matt Littler, Mark Bijak, Ben Lancaster, Matt Snowball Gear Hire, Susanne Courtney, Sheer Music Collective, Sean/Colin/Gareth and Mike at DiS, Acuity Images, Sean/Neil/Diego and Victor @ 93 Feet East, On The Rocks Rehearsal Studios, Laura Norton, ALL THE BANDS, Fee and Dale the 'bucket shakers', Craig Glasgow (who was the only volunteer to work every hour of the fifteen possible at AD3) and all the zine writers that previewed the show on their websites. We really couldn't do it without all your help.

Bateman from The Young Playthings reminisces: "On the day I: Had my accent ridiculed by two girls - apparently it's no longer American but posh?!; discovered I am now officially too fat for the trousers I was wearing that day; heard a white Irishman sing 'Bring The Noise' aided and abetted only by a drum machine and met the one and only Johnny Goatboy..."

Al Fickle Public: "Word, we had a great time down in foggy London town. T'is always a great shame that we have to fire off early and miss out on late night shenanigans. However, we are all (fairly) young so I am sure that there will be other opportunities! Anyhoo, what's this about Jim lending someone something?  What's with this show of generosity? Normally he hits me when I ask him for 'help'.  But aye. Good show all round.  Special extra thanks to the STA crew for making it all worthwhile. I love you guys...I am at work. Hungover.......ROCK! FRESH!"

Daniel STA: "In a mostly random order: 65daysofstatic's sixty minute audio-visual sensory assault; I Was A Cub Scout being complete mavericks, and their drummer playing in the middle of the crowd with no amplification and still managing to drown out Blood Red Shoes; Tiger Force absolutely slaying the PA in the second room; the singalongs and sweat collecting in the air from the sheer number watching Frank Turner; Fickle Public destroying my hearing (and probably everyone else's as well); getting home and sleeping REALLY WELL.

So, how can we make AD4 even better? Of course, we have our own ideas - but we want to find out from you about the bands that you'd like to hear and how you'd like the day to go. Kudos to everyone that lasted to the bitter end and thank you once again.
