The Siegfried Sassoon added to April STA Show line-up

We were very sad to hear that Kapowski split up last week, thanks for all your enquiries about them. At least they can be proud of the one great record they made – good luck to them with their future bands. Enter side-stage… The Siegfried Sassoon their replacement for the forthcoming STA show at The Luminaire in London, on April 19th.

Hailing from Chertsey in Surrey The Siegfried Sassoon sound is a sophisticated, jazz-pop hybrid; stunning AT-AT drum patterns intertwined with melodic and sporadic vocals. Their song-writing style is of the ‘maximum number of hooks per square inch’ variety. Get there early and be very surprised! 

Of late, The Siegfried Sassoon has shared stages with Hell Is For Heroes and Jeniferever; but their sound is more aligned to that of Cursive and At The Drive-In. We’re lucky enough to have an exclusive track from the lads forthcoming on Public Service Broadcast #8.
