A Very Merry STA Christmas

A Very Merry STA Christmas (Dancers not included)Our christmas charity gig went fantastically well last night (20/12/05) raising a grand total of £286.98. This is biggest amount we have raised so far at a Christmas show - thank you very much!

Anyone wishing to contribute further to Shelter can donate online or send a cheque to: Shelter, 88 Old Street, London, EC1V 9HU.

Shelter will be helping many people and families keep their homes or find accommodation over the Christmas period and could not do this without your support.

Our thanks are extended to the staff and management of The Luminaire for making our show look and sound fabulous. Incidentally, The Luminaire has been nominated by Time Out in the category of  'Live Venue of The Year', you can vote for them online - this would be a great award for the venue to pick up in only it's first year of business.

Lastly, we thank the bands that played last night all of which put in killer sets. Neat People, Hundred Handed, The Young Playthings (pictured) and An Emergency will all be on tour in 2006. It's worth pointing out that all the bands played last night for free and even donated merchandise money to the good causes.

That's it for 2005 - we're off - have a great holiday!
