Fighting With Wire Radio 1 One Big Weekend

You really can't turn on your radio these days without being hit with Fighting With Wire. Just added to the XFM playlist and playing 'Europe's Biggest Free Festival' - this weekend; Radio 1's 'One Big Weekend' - needless to say, we're all very pleased at STA. I've bought one of those big fingers you take to wrestling rumbles. FWW... WWF... hmmm (merchandising brain ticks...) especially for this afternoon's gig.

Vote Fighting With Wire!

Good news, everyone! The video for Fighting With Wire's forthcoming Everyone Needs A Nemesis single has been added to the "Hot New Ones" MTV2's Myspace Chart!

Clustered alongside some fine new releases from the likes of Foals, The Futureheads and The Zutons (well, two out of three, at least!), you can vote for the band by heading over to the MTV2 Myspace page.

The single is released on limited 7" on June 2nd, pre-orders will be despatched before this date as a priority - the personalised single campaign has ended, thank you for all your submissions.

The band are also off on an extensive tour of the UK & Ireland from tonight - hit up their myspace or check Last FM for dates.
