You don't have to be a big record company to release records. We're certainly not. At STA we're not on a crusade against the mainstream press or the majors - put simply, we take our music seriously. This compilation has been culled from the best things we've been sent over the last six months. All of the bands on this record are here because you need to hear just how good they are. Know this, none of the bands on this compilation will take ANY of your £5, nor will we - they have all donated their track free of charge and of contracts. All profits from the sale of this record (after costs - we reckon around £360) will be spent on making PSB#2. Together, they're contributing to their community and helping the next set of bands get a leg up. If you like what you hear, get in touch with the band and tell them so. Your feedback is esesential. If you're in a band and fancy being on the next public service broadcast, please, send us your music. create. communicate. share. enjoy. we're all here for the same reason. good music needs to be heard - that's the bottom line.
