I'm brilliant at X - can I intern at Smalltown America this summer?
We know that you are brilliant, and we'd love you to work here: we really really would, however (a) we're not insured to have people work for us yet (b) we've only got one computer at the office. That said however, send us your CV if you want or a link to your portfolio and the likelihood is we'd be able to point you in the right direction.
I want to volunteer - what do you want me to do? Can you give me contacts for gigs?
Great, we need all the help we can get. We're always looking for graphic artists to help with web, poster and sleeve design. We're also keen to take on people that are willing to spend their evenings reaching out to new bands and sourcing CDs for us. Lately, we've been doing more and more co-promotes so if you'd like to organise a show get in touch. If you have any particular skills not listed, by all means drop us a line.
We're not really experts on the gig booking scene for the UK. Your best bet is to start with the NME Listings
