The Young Playthings - Love In A Van

"These will be the best rock shows ever. End of quote."

The Young Playthings continue their mission to spread their own particular brand o' Plaything love up and down the country by hitting the road for another week-and-half of shows. If you're very lucky, you might get to hear some of the new material the band have spent the summer working on!

They certainly seem in high spirits about the dates, anyway. When asked what the audiences can expect from this latest round of dates, the band simply replied "These will be the best rock shows ever. End of quote.", and... well... who are to disagree with that?

Tour dates are as follows:
Friday 19th: Blue Cat Café, Stockport
Monday 22nd: The Adelphi, Hull
Tuesday 23rd: Whistlebinkies, Edinburgh
Wednesday 24th: Rockers, Glasgow
Thursday 25th: The Vic, Swindon
Friday 26th: Rockers Live, Taunton
Saturday 27th: AR2, Bristol
Sunday 28th: The Windmill, Brixton, London
Monday 29th: Port Mahon, Oxford

The Oxford date is also a "Halloween special", although reports that Bateman will don the gear of a Scary Skeleton Warrior or that Tibor will come dressed as a Foul Daemon From Beyond The Gates Of Hell remain, sadly, unconfirmed.

Hit up their myspace for further details about each show, and remember: the band's debut album, 'Who Invented Love?', is currently available in all good stores nationwide. It's rather fine, if we do say so ourselves.
