Smalltown America Is AIM's 'Label Focus'

We're all pretty chuffed that the Association of Independent Music [AIM] have chosen Smalltown America to feature as their 'Label Focus' in their May newsletter.

 

We've covered a few of AIM's fantastic regional labels recently, and this week's label spotlight heads over to Northern Ireland. The label in question? Smalltown America. 
 
Originally set up back in 2001 to self release the sickeningly good 'Zero For Conduct' by Derry post-hardcore heroes Jetplane Landing, the label has gone on to become the creative home for a whole host of other great bands. Current European touring acts include LaFaro, Feldberg and recent alumni Fighting With Wire. The hardworking guys and girls at Smalltown America were also responsible for unleashing And So I Watch You From Afar on the world - most certainly melting many faces in the process! 
 
Never ones to stand still, the label has expanded their product portfolio to include publishing and licensing divisions and also a physical/digital distribution service.  Smalltown America have a habit of not being tied to any single genre or sound - so we urge you to go and check out what may just be your new favourite label now.
