Our Krypton Son's 'Plutonium' Out Now
The second single to be taken from Our Krypton Son's debut eponymous album, 'Plutonium' is available from today as limited edition, coloured vinyl 7" and digital download exclusively through independentmusic.com. Both versions are backed with the previously unreleased 'Nowhere' and 'As I Fade Away'.
'Plutonium' is a deftly crafted tale which showcases the vocal talent of OKS' Chris McConaghy in breathtaking fashion. Broken, vamped chords tumble over an aching lyric which describe perfectly the elemental joy of falling in love (again?). Images of boyhood flutter into view throughout the track and our singer's "dreams of plutonium" could perhaps be a metaphor for the elemental joy of finding a soulmate to watch the world with.
