Mute Print Announce MTC Debut Album

"More Than Conquerors draw upon early British post-hardcore influences merged with emotive melodic vocals and chunky guitars to create their own raw storm of noise."

Belfastian alt-rockers More Than Conquerors have announced the release of their debut album 'Everything I've Learnt'  on September 30th along with the dates of their UK tour. Formed in 2009, More Than Conquerors draw upon early British post-hardcore influences merged with emotive melodic vocals and chunky guitars to create their own raw storm of noise.

'Everything I've Learnt' will be “11 tracks of pent up aggression, frustration, bewilderment and a sense of weird belonging," promises vocalist/guitarist Kriss Platt. “We chewed up each other’s ideas and collectively spit them out to sound like MTC… We wouldn’t be a band if it wasn't for acts like SixStarHotel and Panama Kings," drummer Jamie Neish adds. "Those bands meant a lot to us early on, they gave us the confidence to do our own thing.”

More Than Conquerors have worked their way up from small European club shows up to large stages, where they have supported the likes of Jimmy Eat World, Feeder, Dinosaur Pile-Up and Twin Atlantic.

“We love being in the studio and we love writing, but there’s nothing better than watching an audience sing along to something we’ve created," says Platt. "We're just singing songs, trying to be honest and hoping to find common ground with the people listening."
