Following 2007's funk-tinged concept album, 'Backlash Cop' - it sounds much better than it does on paper - Jetplane Landing bowed out indefinitely. But six years later the Derry foursome - now featuring Fighting With Wire Drummer Craig McKean - have returned with some of the finest songs of their career. Harnessing the pummel of 2003's 'Once Like A Spark', songs like "Walls Of Derry" and "Beat Generation... Ha!" strip away the fat to leave a sinewy ruck of an album.
