Gigape Review Mnemotechnic's 'Awards'

The album is upbeat and makes you want to get up and dance!

On the 25th of January, dance-rock three piece MNEMOTECHNIC released their debut album 'Awards' on Smalltown America. The guys from Brest, France have currently had great reviews from websites and magazines, it looks like 2013 has kicked off to a flying start for them.

"Mnemotechnic showed a remarkable cohesion from hard-line rock to a flowing new wave. "That's good sh**!" eventually burst out from the crowd." - Ouest France
The album consists of 12 tracks including hit single "Shallow Goals", what was released early December 2012. Recorded by Miguel Constantino and mixed by Stéphane Laporte, this album definitely has a good feel to it. MNEMOTECHNIC could easily be described as France's answer to Muse and Nine Inch Nails.
The album is upbeat and makes you want to get up and dance! This is the first time I've ever heard of the band and I'm really impressed, I will definitely be purchasing this album as I really enjoy listening to it. "Party People" is by far one of my favourite songs from the album, it really stood out to me, mainly because of the drumming and interesting introduction to the song. I give this album a 7/10 and recommend them to party-rock lovers!
