Carnivores Release New Video For 'Let's Get Metaphysical'

We are delighted to reveal the new Carnivores video, shot and directed by Cairn Michie in Glasgow.

Described by the NME as sounding like "Weezer being beaten up by The Dillinger Escape Plan", Paisley trio, Carnivores, draw influence from Fugazi, At The Drive-In, Idlewild, Helmet, Elvis Costello and Nirvana.
Carnivores release their first single with Smalltown America on 27th August 2014. The single is the title track new album ‘Let’s Get Metaphysical’ and was one of the first songs written for the record but the last to be recorded. The video that accompanies the single was shot and directed by Cairn Michie in two days at various locations around Glasgow.
“The lyrics are about long distance running”, Kenny explains, “I always seem to do a lot of running when I'm having a bad time or I'm stressed out. I literally run away from my problems! So the song is about facing up to your problems and stresses in life and not distancing yourself from people.”
'Let's Get Metaphysical' will be available to pre-order on 12” coloured vinyl on 8th September via
