Cork Evening Echo Review And So I Watch You From Afar

'Angry music that comes from the depths of your inner being' - 3/5

'You know, it's a funny thing, angry music that is, coming from the depths of your inner being, released via loud guitars and angsty notes, always sounds best when it's derived out of Seattle or Northern Ireland. ASIWYFA carry on that great mantle thrust upon them by punk kings Stiff Little Fingers and The Undertones.  And of course this is quite different, with its instrumental, chiming strumming and nods to progrock.  And these guys have no intention of placing their sound in any geographical pigeon-hole, with American rock their obvious reference point.  The boys don't quite manage to turn all the raw emotion in to any sort of higher understanding, but there is potential here, no question.'
