Big Cheese Magazine Review 'Backlash Cop'

'New, exciting, musically incredible and politically fervent, so it's near on perfect' - 4/5

Some bands' sole purpose is to try new things, defy convention and write music that is all about excitement. Jetplane Landing have been doing this for some years now, and with a degree of success within the MTV2 generation, though they've always kept their operations outside of the 'industry'. So following the demise of nu-metal, Jetplane Landing have probably done the uncoolest thing ever; frontman Andrew Ferris raps over grinding thrash music and massive metal/disco riffs, they even rip off P Diddy's beats (who in turn nicked them from Diana Ross) in "Dizzy Gillespie For President". So what's the result? Well this is new, exciting, musically incredible and politically fervent, so it's near on perfect.
