Music News Review "Breakfast In NYC"

'A delicious slice of sunny pop' - 4/5

Belfast’s Oppenheimer release the charming electro-pop "Breakfast in NYC". It was first released on Public Broadcast 7, a 25 track compilation of largely unsigned bands and is another fine judgement from Smalltown America Records. The vibe is sweet, the chorus is rousingly catchy, and the glockenspiel chimes place a spring in the step and a cheer in the heart. It’s a delicious slice of sunny pop that sits gloriously between The Corgis and The Concretes. The double A is twinned with Truth or Dare, with an electro-punk-pop back groove but equally as uproarious and skyward.
