Biography
Hooray For Humans is a perfect example of how different minds coming together can often equal the best results.
With backgrounds in everything from hardcore to avant-garde minimalism, the Irish four-piece are now a brazen pop outfit, who flirt with everything from post-rock to new-wave to electro.
Their debut album entitled Safekeeping, released in October 2007, manages to find a blissful counterbalance between emotive lyrics mixed with boy/girl shouty pop, sensitive indietronica, big choruses and fun times. It is the sound of a band enjoying themselves, wanting to make you dance; yet it is anything but throwaway in its nature.
