As Taylor Parkes said, the 21st Century really began when the Spice girls names were downsized and streamlined into single word wank fantasies and their nipples began to dispense Pepsi. Beyonce gets $1m to tell us to eat McDonalds while privately admitting her life is a miserable cycle of starvation and lettuce lunches. Forgive us if we want no part of it. For the most part we've found the indies to be a cliquey network of bullshitters putting out shit releases for their contacts who write in magazines in return for a good review or two all the while looking at us as losers for choosing to give away our music to people who might care rather than selling it. Forgive us if we want no part of it. Maybe I'm sounding bitter but I can honestly say I haven't felt this happy since the band started.
